Our clients’ home in Pensacola, Florida was impacted by Hurricane Sally. The three-story property suffered severe wind damage to its shingle roof system and the siding of the residence, which allowed water intrusion into all three levels of the home. The loss was immediately reported to the insurance company, but their company only agreed to pay them $14,373.67. Our firm was hired to dispute this position and a lawsuit was filed.

Evidence uncovered by our firm during the course of the case revealed an inadequate inspection performed by the insurance company’s field adjuster, which influenced the dramatic undervaluation of the claim. A year into the lawsuit, the insurance company agreed to pay an additional $100,000.00 to resolve the claim.
