Condominium Unit Hurricane Claim

Our client’s condominium unit was situated directly in the path of Hurricane Ian. The Category 5 hurricane caused substantial damage to the exterior protections of the condominium, which resulted in expansive water damage, and eventually mold damage, to the interior of their unit within the condominium. Our clients reported the loss to their insurance company, but the insurer determined the cost of repair did not exceed the hurricane deductible – therefore, no payment was made to our clients.
